Kathryn has a degree in Natural Sciences and a PhD from the University of Cambridge. After working as a post-doctoral researcher at Addenbrokes Hospital, she embarked on a publishing career in 1989, initially working on sponsored educational projects with Hobsons Publishing in Cambridge.
Her career as a freelance writer and editor has involved projects with MacMillan Cancer Relief, the Physiological Society, Tapestry Networks, the European Commission and the European Life Sciences Organisation.
