The Apple iPhone has caused a sensation in the world of mobile phones since its launch by Apple at MacWorld 2007. Other mobiles, notably, the LG Prada, has touch screen technology, but the iphone has taken things one step further. The iphone’s touch screen takes up nearly the entire area of the front of the phone and it works really well. Some other touch screens are unreliable, too sensitive - which is annoying when you accidentally brush the surface of the touch screen and wipe the text you have just written.
No such problems with the iphone. The iphone is also an extremely desirable fashion accessory. It is an mp3 and video player just as much as it is a phone - in fact, the iphone is probably a better mulitmedia machine than it is a phone.
Apple has now released the developers pack for the iphone and as we go through 2008, new iphone software and applications are expected to come thick and fast.
